The design, construction and engineering sector is undergoing impressive digital development. New technologies, data-driven processes and smart tools are springing up like mushrooms. But while digital capabilities are evolving at lightning speed, one crucial question increasingly lingers: will humans follow?
Getting people within organizations and project teams on board proves time and again to be the biggest challenge - and perhaps the most important bottleneck for successful upscaling. Because how do you ensure that new ways of working are really embraced? How do you break through existing patterns, resistances and habits? And how do you deal with the human side of change in a sector that is traditionally focused on doing, building and delivering?
In this session you will not get abstract models or visions of the future, but practical experiences of professionals who struggle with this challenge every day - AND make progress. Experts from the sector will share their insights on what works (and what doesn't) when it comes to behavioral change within digitalization projects. Expect honest stories, keen observations and concrete tools.
Digitization is not a matter of technology alone. It is human work. And those who don't focus on that will be left behind.

Role: Founder of Packhunt
Bio: Anke Rolvink is co-founder of Packhunt for Factories, a platform that helps construction companies digitize their sales, design, and production processes using smart parametric configurators. This enables building components to be designed and produced faster, more efficiently, and without errors.
After studying Structural Mechanics at Delft University of Technology, she worked at Arup on iconic international projects such as Arnhem Central Station. In 2013, she founded Packhunt for Factories. In 2022, she was recognized as Futureproof Woman of the Year for her innovative vision and role as an inspiration in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Rolvink is committed to a digital, sustainable, and inclusive construction sector.
Speaker 3: Myrna de Vries
Position: Information Manager at Cepezed
Bio: Myrna de Vries is a process expert and QHSE coordinator at Cepezed, where she has been working since 2019. With a background in art and interior design, she has extensive experience with both new construction and renovation projects. At Cepezed, she focuses on optimizing information flows and processes and implementing digital solutions, while paying close attention to the human side of change. She ensures that systems are not only efficient but also practical and user-friendly. Myrna is known for her friendly, engaged, and solution-oriented approach. Her commitment to simplicity and clarity aligns seamlessly with Cepezed’s design philosophy.
Speaker 4: Hans Loonen, Rijksvastgoed
As CIO of the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf, J.P.M. (Hans) Loonen is responsible for the further development of the IT organization and, in particular, the organization’s IT infrastructure. The Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB) manages the largest and most diverse real estate portfolio in the Netherlands and the Caribbean Netherlands. It is responsible for consolidating, developing, constructing, managing, and maintaining the buildings and land owned by the national government and the Ministry of Defense. This is a growing challenge that the RVB aims to address more quickly and efficiently. Digitalization plays a major role in this, both within the RVB and in its collaboration with the market.
Hans is keenly committed to digitization and does so as a board member of DigiGO and as a member of the Building Digitization Council, client of DigiGO. Previously, Hans was CFO/CIO at CIBG, among other positions. He studied business economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
