Digital building is essential to make the built environment more sustainable. So argues former politician Diederik Samsom during the second edition of Digibouw, which takes place next month in the Jaarbeurs.
"Scaling up is no longer a choice, it is the way to a sustainable and livable future," Samsom said. The former politician Samsom has been an advocate of a CO2-free built environment for years. Since July 1, as chairman of "top consortium" TKI Bouw en Techniek, he has been giving hands and feet to that mission.
During the two-day conference DigiBouw, numerous experts and boosters share their stories and examples. On behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning, Nicole Maarsen gives a look behind the scenes of the 'data-driven area development' pilot, while Rob Roef, team member of Building Industrialization at TNO discusses in detail how conceptual housing construction can be smartly scaled up.
DigiBouw 2025 will take place on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20. View the entire program here or register for free here.
