In his knowledge session, René Sondermeijer, BIM developer at Archidat, shows how 5D-BIM reference models linked to a construction cost database give grip on construction costs. With a demo, he shows how design choices are directly translated into cost insights.
Construction cost dynamics are difficult to predict. That is why Archidat develops parametric models linked to actual construction cost data, supporting designers, developers and construction professionals already in the early phase. Thanks to this link, construction costs are reliably visualized and form an integral part of the design process.
